The problem
It needs people who can implement it.
Thousands learn prompting and automation. Organizations still struggle to turn tools into reliable results.
The gap is not knowledge. The gap is execution.
Forge develops professionals who answer with evidence.
The model
Most programmes begin with content. Forge begins with a real operational problem.
You will work in a four-person delivery squad on a challenge from an African business, nonprofit or institution.
Every challenge has
The organization does not give you a classroom assignment. It gives you a problem that matters.
Outcomes
01
Build or implement a workflow, assistant, automation or internal tool designed around a real organizational need.
02
Show what changed through before-and-after measures such as time saved, errors reduced, turnaround improved or work completed faster.
03
Document your diagnosis, decisions, implementation, testing, limitations, results and individual contribution.
04
Learn how to manage stakeholders, work with users, protect sensitive information and deliver within real constraints.
05
Present your work to partner representatives and independent technical or operational practitioners.
06
The TaskWit Forge credential is awarded for demonstrated performance—not attendance.
07
Strong fellows may be considered for jobs, contracts, implementation assignments and other opportunities across the TaskWit partner network.
Tracks
Forge brings technical builders and operational problem-solvers together.
For developers, automation specialists and capable no-code or low-code builders who can turn requirements into working systems.
You will focus on
Your final evidence will include a working solution, build record, evaluation results and handover documentation.
You do not need a computer-science degree. You must be able to demonstrate that you can build.
For operations, product, project and transformation professionals who can connect technology to real organizational work.
You will focus on
Your final evidence will include a verified problem analysis, adoption plan, before-and-after results and partner sign-off.
You do not need to be a software developer. You must be able to turn ambiguity into an executable plan.
Method
Weeks 1–2
You begin with the organization, not the technology. Your squad will study the current workflow, interview users, establish baseline measures and identify the risks surrounding the challenge.
You will produce
No project moves forward until the problem and evidence are clear.
Weeks 3–4
Your squad will explore possible interventions, test the riskiest assumptions and decide what should—and should not—be automated.
You will produce
A clever idea is not enough. The solution must fit the workflow.
Weeks 5–10
Your squad will build, test, improve and introduce the solution to its intended users.
You will produce
The goal is not merely to demonstrate the solution. The goal is to make it usable.
Weeks 11–12
Your squad will consolidate the evidence, secure partner verification and present the work before the Forge Review panel.
You will produce
Your certification decision will be based on what you delivered and what the evidence supports.
Schedule
Forge requires approximately 10–12 hours each week.
01 · Monday
Your squad defines its weekly evidence target, responsibilities and risks.
02 · Tuesday
Attend a 90-minute live delivery studio focused on the method required for that week’s project gate.
03 · Wednesday–Thursday
Conduct user interviews, design workflows, build, test, implement and document your work.
04 · Friday
Submit your evidence update: what changed, what was produced, what failed and what must happen next.
05 · Selected Saturdays
Join optional technical clinics and specialist mentor sessions when your project requires additional support.
Working studios—not motivational webinars. Learn the method, apply it immediately.
Projects
Every challenge is screened for feasibility, data access, responsible use and measurable value before it enters Forge.
Developing a human-supervised workflow that helps teams classify enquiries, retrieve approved information and prepare faster responses.
Automating meeting summaries, CRM updates, follow-up preparation and sales-administration tasks.
Creating a permission-aware assistant that helps employees find approved policies, procedures and organizational knowledge.
Building systems that extract information, organize documents and flag exceptions for human review.
Reducing the time required to consolidate data, prepare routine reports and produce first drafts.
Using AI and automation to improve turnaround times, reduce repeated manual work and support frontline teams.
A prototype that works once during a presentation is not enough. Every Forge solution is assessed across six areas.
To earn the Forge credential, you must demonstrate your individual contribution and meet the required performance standard.
There are no automatic certificates. There is no badge simply for being selected.
Selection gives you the opportunity. Delivery earns you the credential.
Fellows
Forge is designed for professionals who want to move from learning about AI to delivering measurable work with it.
You may be a strong fit if you
Your degree, university and job title will not determine your selection. Your evidence will.
Forge creates access to consequential work. What you do with that access still matters.
Selection
01
Tell us what you have completed, what capability you bring and why you are ready for real implementation work.
02
Shortlisted applicants complete a 72-hour practical task based on the track they selected. Workflow Builders demonstrate how they build, test and document. Adoption Operators demonstrate how they diagnose, design and measure.
03
Finalists discuss their work, decisions, availability, collaboration and response to feedback.
04
Selected fellows are matched into balanced squads according to capability, project needs, availability and conflict considerations.
Forge 01 will select only 20 fellows: 10 AI Workflow Builders and 10 AI Adoption Operators. Four additional candidates may be selected as alternates.
Criteria
We are not searching for the person who knows the most AI terminology. We are looking for evidence of:
Have you completed meaningful work before?
Can you demonstrate the baseline ability required for your chosen track?
Do you investigate the problem before jumping to a solution?
Can you receive feedback, change your mind and improve your work?
Can other people trust you with responsibility?
Can you make realistic commitments and keep them?
Brilliance without reliability is not enough for Forge.
Partners
Forge partners with businesses, nonprofits and institutions that have real operational challenges and are prepared to support a supervised implementation.

Potential partner challenges are reviewed before acceptance. We will not accept projects that require unsafe access to personal data, automate high-consequence decisions without qualified oversight or cannot be meaningfully piloted within 12 weeks.
Partners
Test an AI-enabled intervention against a defined workflow without beginning with a large transformation project.
Work with professionals selected for their technical ability, operational judgment and evidence of follow-through.
Your project sponsor and users participate in the process, helping the organization develop a more realistic understanding of AI implementation.
Observe how fellows think, communicate and deliver before considering them for future employment or contract opportunities.
Finish with documented results, identified limitations and a recommendation for what should happen next.
Forge is a supervised implementation fellowship. It is not a promise that every challenge will become a production-scale system.
